Releases and deliverables

Under the EIS project, the cornerstone, base, and fundament is the EIS Standard Universal Ontology (SUO) formulating the general framework or universal template for scientific knowledge, computational taxonomies, and web ontology languages, constructed consistent with the traditions of modern sciences and mathematics. Providing a formal description of the prime classes of the World [Entity Objects or Substances, States or Properties, Changes or Actions or Activities or Processes, and Relations, and Nonentity], the EIS SUO includes as its parts: the universe description framework, the object description language, the state description language, the process representation language, and the relation description language.

A prospective line of EIS products is an all-purpose language machine possessing both encyclopedic intelligence and natural language power, titled as the Virtual Aristotle Machine (VAM). The VAM’s reasoning engine is designed to possess the most sought-after capacities:

Ø      to identify and process top constructs and relationships in any knowledge area;

Ø      to resolve complex problems revealing their central causes and reasons;

Ø      to generate questions and answer explanations in natural language;

Ø      to interact with the human being exchanging information and thoughts on every lively topic;

Ø      to predict possible events, consequences, effects, or outcomes brought about by human actions or natural processes.

The Virtual Aristotle Machine upcoming product line:

Under the EIS project the forthcoming deliverable is the World Knowledge Wordbook and the Meaningful World Wide Web traded as the World Category of Things and coming in two complementary parts: the Encyclopedic Knowledge Reference, or Ontological Encyclopedia (OntoCyc), a conceptual outline of world knowledge; ii) the Catalog of the World. Being fundamental to AI Systems, NL Processing Technologies, Q&A Systems, Intelligent Search Engines, Semantic Machines, Web-based Knowledge Programs, Web Services, Web-based Reasoning Applications, and Software Robots, the unique knowledge product is designed to bring profound changes for knowledge technologies, reasoning software, and intelligent machines.
